Canada hit the Oscar goldmine this year!!! The 80th Academy Awards aka “Oscars” nominations were announced today and “Juno” came out on top with 4 nominations including Halifax’s Ellen Page for “Performance by an actress in a leading role”. Other nominations included, “Original screenplay, Achievement in directing and Best motion picture of the year”.

P.S- George Clooney was nomination for best actor in “Michael Clayton” … I had a HOT dream about him last and GODDAMN was it ever good!!… lol
