Canadian rock singer J. D. Fortune (real name Jason Dean Bennison) of the rock band INXS is looking a little less fortubate these days! being broke, homeless and without a band!!! According to an interview with ET Canada on Feb 18th, 09, J.D claims INXS fired him at an airport in Hong Kong for unknown reasons?!?
The singer says he is currently living out of his pickup truck and saving every dime for his solo album “Death of a motivational speaker“, set to be released sometime this year. Fortune also told sources that he’s been clean from cocaine and other drugs for the past 2 years now…
