Congrats to 15yr old Tianda from Fraser Lake, BC who took home the title of YTV’s “The Next Star“. Over 1 million Canadians voted online or through text messages to declare her as the winner.
Tianda’s total prize package is worth over $35,000!!! The 15yr is set to perform a showcase at the Canadian Music Week in 2010 and will record some tracks at Metalworks Studios, which will be distributed by Universal Music Canada. Tianda was also given a J-45 Standard Acoustic Guitar and an Epiphone Valve Jr. Combo Amp from Gibson Guitar.
