*Update* of the Edison Chen Controversy!

        Today Vancouver-born Chinese actor/singer Edison Chen held a news conference in Hong Kong. He admitted to taking racy photos of multiple women and apologized for the controversy.

These photos were very private … and were never intended to be shown to anyone,” Chen said Thursday. “I would like to apologize to all the ladies and to all their families for any harm or hurt they have been feeling. I’m sorry. I know young people in Hong Kong look up to many figures in our society and, in this regard, I have failed as a role model. I have decided to step away from the Hong Kong entertainment industry … to give myself an opportunity to heal myself and to search my soul.”

       According to sources Hong Kong police have made several arrests in their ongoing investigation into the scandal…

SoooSCANDALIZE!!

         Chinese-Canadian Hong Kong movie actor and singer, Edison Chen, is in deep water! over what Asian tabloids are now calling the “Edison Chen Incident”. The sex scandal involves pictures with Chen and other celebrities including, Bobo Chan and Gillian Chung.

         Apparently, this is huge news in China! The foreign press is denying that the pictures are real and stating that they must be photoshoped!… but who’s to really know for sure, right?… It’s believed that the pictures were stolen off Chen’s laptop when he it was left with a computer technician to get fixed…. rumor also has it that there could be over 1000 racy images depicted the star in various sexual acts!!!…

Chen released the following statement via his website….

Today I have broken my silence.

As of this evening, the police have made significant advances towards solving this malicious crime. As from the beginning I will continue to give the police my fullest cooperation to bring the perpetrators to justice.

At this time I am not able to discuss matters related to the case, but I do feel it is my obligation to accept full responsibility and take action to help both the victims and those associated with them to heal their wounds.

In this regard, I plead with everyone to please stop forwarding the images on the Internet. Furthermore, to completely rid the images from your computer. This is a small step that each one of us can take to help the innocent rebuild their lives. The priority now is for all of us to pitch in and help those in need.”
