The 31yr old apparently popped the question after dating Johansson, 23, for nearly a year… no date has been set just yet! but a friend of the family told me that the “couple are absolutely ecstatic and can’t wait for the “big” day!”….

In 2004 Reynolds was engaged to fellow canuck, Alanis Morissette but the ex-couple broke it off in early 2006…

       The Daily Mirror is reporting that Courtney Love has apparently asked Canada’s Ryan Gosling to play her late husband, Kurt Cobain, in a $60-million movie entitled “Heavier Than Heaven“. Rumor has it that she also asked Scarlett Johansson to play her in the biopic.
