Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from prison early today after serving almost a year behind bars.

Fielder-Civil was sentenced to 27 months back in July for beating up a man last year. At the time Civil had already spent nine months in lock up and today he was released early…

He has since checked himself into rehab…

         According to Amy Winehouse’s dad the soul singer was hospitalized yesterday afternoon after fainting inside her London home. Apparently the singer was signing authographs for some Canadian fans just before the incident happened and collapsed after they left!!!!… lol…

         Canadian rocker-boi Bryan Adams has apparently written a song for singer Amy Winehouse. Adams and Winehouse have developed a strong friendship after the young singer stayed at his Caribbean home over the New Years holiday…

A source also told the Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper…

Bryan was so worried about Amy when she came to stay. It’s an unlikely friendship but Bryan has taken her under his wing, and he would be distraught if anything ever happened to her.”

Lyrics in the track include “Amid the stars and the bars, the pimps and the pills” and “the picture faded and the day was done, went home to nothin’ but a loaded gun.” Winehouse was so taken by the song that she agreed to perform it with Adams later this year when he goes on tour…

WTF was she thinking?!?…

        My favorite British person beside Sir. Elton John, jazz singer Amy Winehouse performed at the Riverside Studios via video link from London, England. Winehouse managed to win 5 out of her 6 nominations including, record of the year, best new artist, song of the year, pop vocal album and female pop vocal performance.

         Canada’s Feist looked amazing a $3 dollar dress from a Paris thrift store! and of course Victoria’s songbird Nelly Furtado looked stunning in a blue gown… There were so many other amazing moments… I loved Aretha Franklin’s dress! she looked beautiful! and to top it off she performed a song written by Canadian Bryan Adams! Tina Turner and Beyonce’s duet… WOW!!…

       I have to say Kayne West is an unreal performer! and the tribute to his mom was nice…. but of course when Vince Gill won “Best Country Album” his comment to Kayne West’s superiority complex made my night!
