           Canadian child-star actress Ashleigh Aston Moore (born Ashley Rogers) has allegedly passed away from a heroin overdose. Moore was best known for her role in “Now and Then” in which she to gain 20 pounds to play the role of Chrissy. According to her IMDB the last acting job she did was a small role on “Touched by an Angel” in 1997.

            On Wikipedia it states the young woman died on December 11th, 2007. It originally stated that she passed away from a heroin overdose but has now been edited. A supposed friend wrote in his MySpace blog about her passing away click here to see the post.

            There is a slight chance that this could be a complete hoax but that’s why it’s called “Breaking News”. I searched the Richmond news for an obituary but there isn’t anything yet at this point. I think the family is probably trying to keep this as quiet as possible because of the media attention.

Wiki also says the following about the young woman;

Ashleigh lived in Canada, where she struggled with many personal issues. She did many eccentric things, such as get corset piercings and many tattoos.”

That’s really sad! I loved her in “Now and Then”! I used to watch that movie all the time as a kid…
