Presenters this year will include Brian Williams, Nelly Furtado,  Janet Suzman, Paula Patton and Gordon Lightfoot.

Canada’s Walk of Fame is located in Toronto, Ontario, and celebrates those who have excelled in music, sport, film, television, literary, visual, performing arts, science and innovation.

       Canada’s Nickelback have been awarded five Juno nominations. Sam Roberts earned four nominations this year, while Celine Dion and Hedley grabbed three nominations each. So far, performances by Sarah McLachlan, City and Colour, Nickelback and Simple Plan have been confirmed…

        Here’s a few pictures from the 50th Grammy Awards !… from the red carpet to the amazing performances, you truly didn’t want to miss a beat! My “Best Dressed” goes to Carrie Underwood!! she looked gorgeous! and I was really impressed by her performance of “Before He Cheat” …as for Bai Ling! well, I can’t say the same!! WTF was she thinking?!?…

        My favorite British person beside Sir. Elton John, jazz singer Amy Winehouse performed at the Riverside Studios via video link from London, England. Winehouse managed to win 5 out of her 6 nominations including, record of the year, best new artist, song of the year, pop vocal album and female pop vocal performance.

         Canada’s Feist looked amazing a $3 dollar dress from a Paris thrift store! and of course Victoria’s songbird Nelly Furtado looked stunning in a blue gown… There were so many other amazing moments… I loved Aretha Franklin’s dress! she looked beautiful! and to top it off she performed a song written by Canadian Bryan Adams! Tina Turner and Beyonce’s duet… WOW!!…

       I have to say Kayne West is an unreal performer! and the tribute to his mom was nice…. but of course when Vince Gill won “Best Country Album” his comment to Kayne West’s superiority complex made my night!

        The 2008 JUNO Award nominations were announced today and Canada’s Celine Dion and Avril Lavinge managed to make the list…  The show will have some of Canada’s hottest performers including Anne Murray, Avril Lavigne, Feist, Finger Eleven, Measha Brueggergosman and Michael Bublé…

              These are some of my favorite red carpet fashion from tonight’s 14th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards…

         WOW! It looks like Angelina Jolie is definitely hiding a ‘lil baby bump!… There were some very SAD dresses tonight including Canada’s Sandra Oh’s pink bow! it’s fugly!?! Lisa Rinna’s leopard print??!!? and I’m not really sure what Chandra Wilson was thinking either!… Nikki Blonsky’s dress was kinda blah!… but nothing even came close to Jane Krakowski green/fruit dress! PUKE!!.. on the other hand Terri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, Ellen Page, Ellen Pompeo and others looked amazing!… In my opinion best dressed went to Sara Ramirez tonight… she just stood out to me for some reason! it was simple yet elegant and colorful…

         Let’s not forget all the sexy men tonight including McSteamy and Canadian hottie Ryan Gosling who both looked smokin!

         Canada hit the Oscar goldmine this year!!! The 80th Academy Awards aka “Oscars” nominations were announced today and “Juno” came out on top with 4 nominations including Halifax’s Ellen Page for “Performance by an actress in a leading role”. Other nominations included, “Original screenplay, Achievement in directing and Best motion picture of the year”.
