Patrick Swayze plans to write a memoir with his wife Lisa sharing intimate details of his battle with pancreatic cancer… stay strong buddy… The “Dirty Dancing” star was released from the hospital on 16 January after a week-long stay, where he was treated for pneumonia.

A publisher and release date for the book have yet to be announced…

       Kelly Osborne has checked herself into “a medical facility to address some personal issues,” according to her London publicist.

Last week Osbourne was arrested on a charges for apparently assaulting a British gossip columnist at a London nightclub last August, 2008!…

     Kevin Costner was hospitalized this week after feeling unwell while driving to a business meeting. The 53-year-old  actor was rushed to L.A’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was kept overnight in the hospital and released the next day after tests revealed nothing abnormal.

A rep for the A-lister says “He’s feeling fine and is back on his feet.“

Another rep. for the star said, “Patrick has asked that I tell you that this morning he checked himself into the hospital for observation. Chemotherapy can take its toll on the immune system, and illnesses are a part of that. Patrick wishes me to tell you that he’s very sorry he cannot attend, but plans to get back to promoting ‘The Beast’ soon. He thanks everybody for the outpouring of support. We hope to see him back on his feet soon.“

Starting January 15th, 2009, Swayze will be starring in a new drama on A&E’s called “The Beast“. Swayze will play a veteran FBI agent who’s assigned a new partner, unaware that he was recruited as a double agent to investigate his activities.

Swayze had planned to attend a TV Critics Association media event today to talk about his new A&E series …

       Canadian Genie-nominated actor Michael Rudder, from Montreal, is stable but in a critical-care unit of an Indian hospital following surgery after being shot three times. He was one of two injured Canadians who took part in a spiritual quest, while visiting India with the “Synchronicity Foundation“.

       Rudder was shot three times when militants stormed into a Mumbai hotel on Wedneday. At least 119 people were killed in the assaults, including one Canadian…
