The lawyer for Canada’s Chad Kroeger of Nickelback wants a judge to dismiss a 2006 DUI charge. Kroeger, who’s real name is Chad Robert Turton was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08 on July 26th, 2006. 

        Apparently Kroeger’s lawyer Marvin Stern wants the judge to exclude the breathalyzer results because it’s believe the officer in charge at the time didn’t have any reasonable grounds to suspect that Kroeger was drinking and driving. Other reports around the time of incident suggest that he was pulled over because of alleged speeding and erratic driving?!…

The judge is scheduled to make a decision on Feb. 20th, 2007.
