Canadian singer/songwriter Avril Lavigne has officially split from Canadian husband Deryck Whibley.

The couple called it quits a few days ago after Lavigne posted the following note entitled, “Moving forward on a positive note” on her website:

Deryck and I have been together for 6 and a half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.

Canada’s favorite little punk rocker couple were married back in 2006 and have no children together. A close source has told us the two are no longer living together in their Bel Air home and plan to precede on getting a divorce.

        According to the Sun, Madonna’s friends have nicknamed her soon to be ex-husband “Material Guy” because they believe Guy Ritchie wants more from the divorce then what he’s claming. Ritchie’s lawyers told sources last week that he  doesn’t “want a penny” from his 8yr marriage to the singer, however friends of the couple say “this just doesn’t jive”…

       Madonna is currently worth an estimated £320million, which is about $500million CDN!!! ohhhmyyylllannta… but I don’t think Guy cares about the money ’cause he aint poor either, he’s worth about $30million!…

         Marsha Williams has apparently filed for divorce against husband actor/comedian Mr.Robin Williams. According to sources the divorce papers were filed in San Francisco on March 21, and cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup. The couple originally met when Marsha worked as a nanny for Williams and his first wife Valerie. They later married in 1989.

The couple have two children together, Zelda and Cody.

        Pamela Anderson has decided to go ahead and divorce her third husband, Rick Salomon. The papers were served two weeks after Anderson first filed for divorce from Salomon, a decision she rescinded just a few hours later with a blog post on her website that they were “working things out“. Speculation started when Pambam was seen flying solo on New Years Eve…

        The divorce papers state she and Salomon were married from Oct. 6 to Dec. 13th, 2007.
