Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein’s autopsy has been completed by the Medical Examiner’s Office in New York City and there is no determination as to the cause of death. More tests have been ordered including a Toxicology report that will take a few weeks to complete.

Adam Goldstein was found dead at his New York City apartment on Lafayette Street at around 5:20 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2009. He was 36 years old. According to different sources drugs may have been a contributor.

DJ AM dated Mandy Moore and was once engaged to socialite Nicole Richie. Last September Goldstein survived a fatal Learjet plane crash, which killed four others. He told people in October, 2008, “I have a great deal of faith that everything happens for a reason. I put myself in God’s hands“.

DJ AM’s last twitter update on August 25th, 2009 said, “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems.“…

        Travis Barker and DJ AM are in the hospital with intense burns after their Learjet crashed upon takeoff from a Columbia, South Carolina, late last night.

Barker and DJ Am (Adam Goldstein) were taken to a Georgia burn center and are currently listed in critical but stable condition. The four people who died in the crash are; Sarah Lemmon, James Bland, Charles Still and and Barker’s assistant Chris Baker…

Barker is an ex-drummer for the band Blink 182 and was once married to “Dancing with the Stars“, and former Miss USA Shanna Moakler…
