                The benevolent Canadian singer/songwriter Feist has partnered up with multiple charities on her upcoming Canadian tour. Concert-attendies will be asked to bring with them a non-perishable food item to her concerts and all donation will go towards a local food bank… All the monies made from her merchandise sales will go to CARE Canada, Doctors Without Borders and War Child Canada…

       The Canadian songstress performs her hit song, “1-2-3-4“, on the 39th season of Sesame Street! Watch Leslie Feist as she dances down Sesame Street in a version of the song which helps children learn how to count to four…

        Canada’s own Opera Queen, Measha Brueggergosman, hosted the 2008 Juno Awards gala dinner last night in Calgary…

Brueggergosman was the winner of “Classical Album of the Year“, while Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo took home two Juno Awards including “Adult Alternative Album of the Year“… damn he’s hot!!… Feist was also a big winner last night taking home two awards for “Artist of the Year” and “Songwriter of the Year“… Congrats!

        Here’s a few pictures from the 50th Grammy Awards !… from the red carpet to the amazing performances, you truly didn’t want to miss a beat! My “Best Dressed” goes to Carrie Underwood!! she looked gorgeous! and I was really impressed by her performance of “Before He Cheat” …as for Bai Ling! well, I can’t say the same!! WTF was she thinking?!?…

        My favorite British person beside Sir. Elton John, jazz singer Amy Winehouse performed at the Riverside Studios via video link from London, England. Winehouse managed to win 5 out of her 6 nominations including, record of the year, best new artist, song of the year, pop vocal album and female pop vocal performance.

         Canada’s Feist looked amazing a $3 dollar dress from a Paris thrift store! and of course Victoria’s songbird Nelly Furtado looked stunning in a blue gown… There were so many other amazing moments… I loved Aretha Franklin’s dress! she looked beautiful! and to top it off she performed a song written by Canadian Bryan Adams! Tina Turner and Beyonce’s duet… WOW!!…

       I have to say Kayne West is an unreal performer! and the tribute to his mom was nice…. but of course when Vince Gill won “Best Country Album” his comment to Kayne West’s superiority complex made my night!

        The 2008 JUNO Award nominations were announced today and Canada’s Celine Dion and Avril Lavinge managed to make the list…  The show will have some of Canada’s hottest performers including Anne Murray, Avril Lavigne, Feist, Finger Eleven, Measha Brueggergosman and Michael Bublé…
