         Canada’s Degrassi star Adamo Ruggiero publicly announced that he is gay! WHAT A SHOCKER!!!… NOT!

This is what he had to say about coming out of the closet, coming to terms with his sexuality, and telling his parents….

“I didn’t plan it that way… maybe it’s life imitating art… Degrassi let me do something real and I kind of feel like I’m living proof of what the show was working to accomplish.”

…Funny enough Adamo plays the role of Marco Del Rossi in Degrassi: The Next Generation in which his character Marco is a gay teenager who struggles with coming to terms with his sexuality….
