There are so many mixed stories going around about the incident with Keifer Sutherland  and fashion designer Jack McCollough… Allegedly Sutherland head-butted McCollough after the designer rudly bumped into Brooke Shields?!? Now according to McCulloughs rep, the designer “suffered multiple fractures to his nose”… so Keifer turned himself into authorities…

here’s a little more details…

Sutherland surrendered to NYC police on 7 May 2009 for head-butting fashion designer Jack McCollough at the Mercer Hotel in SoHo following a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Sutherland was chatting with model Brooke Shields at the hotel bar when McCollugh stepped between them, at which point Sutherland made a comment and proceeded to open McCollugh’s nose with the head-butt. Misdemeanor charges will likely result.”- Wikipedia

Sutherland, 42, is currently not in jail and remains free prior to his court appearance, which is on June 22,2009. The $hitty thing is that Keifer is currently on probation for a previous DUI. He spent 48 days in jail during 2007…

A rep for Brook Shields released the following statement;

A number of statements have been attributed to Ms. Shields in the media that are neither true nor authorized. These statements were obviously made by those who were not in attendance at the party and constitute their version of events. While at the party she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned. Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation.”

        Canada’s Kiefer Sutherland was released from Jail at 12:05am this morning after spending Christmas and New Years in the slammer for a DUI charge…The actor was also sentenced to five years probation, and must complete an 18-month alcohol education program and attend weekly therapy sessions for six months.

He’s a free man!…

           Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland was sentenced to 48 days in jail for drunken driving (DUI). He was scheduled to turn himself in on December 21, which also happens to be his birthday but because of the writers strike, he decided to check himself in a little earlier. Happy Holidays!!
