Patrick Swayze has died. The actor has sadly passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.

A statement from Swayze’s publicist:

“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months.”

I’ll always remember Patrick Swayze in two of my most all-time favorite movies “Ghost” and “Dirty Dancing“. He was an amazing actor, dancer and human being! he will be sadly missed. God Bless

Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein’s autopsy has been completed by the Medical Examiner’s Office in New York City and there is no determination as to the cause of death. More tests have been ordered including a Toxicology report that will take a few weeks to complete.

Adam Goldstein was found dead at his New York City apartment on Lafayette Street at around 5:20 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2009. He was 36 years old. According to different sources drugs may have been a contributor.

DJ AM dated Mandy Moore and was once engaged to socialite Nicole Richie. Last September Goldstein survived a fatal Learjet plane crash, which killed four others. He told people in October, 2008, “I have a great deal of faith that everything happens for a reason. I put myself in God’s hands“.

DJ AM’s last twitter update on August 25th, 2009 said, “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems.“…

           Michael Jackson’s body was just unloaded from a helicopter at the L.A. County Coroner’s Office where an official autopsy will be conducted sometime tomorrow… R.I.P

Hoax or Real?

Several sources are claiming that Michael Jackson has indeed passed away. The LA Times said Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma. Apparently a 911 call was received around 12.12pm this afternoon, in which paramedics were sent to the stars home. He was then rushed to hospital were he was allegedly pronounced dead.

I’ve noticed that Jackson’s “protected” Wikipedia page has been updated declaring the stars death as of June 25, 2009. I also just noticed that Jackson’s Official website has been edited and all future concert dated are not appearingon the front page anymore…

Jackson had been rehearsing and getting ready for a much anticipated 50-show concert series at London’s O2 Arena…

       Actress Farrah Fawcett has died of Cancer. Fawcett died this morning (June 25, 2009) around 9:28 a.m. PST at the St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, California. According to family Farrah was given her last rites from the Catholic Church before she passed. The actress was diagnosed with Anal cancer back in 2006 and received multiple treatments. She passed away with her family by her side…

She was 62.

       Actress Beatrice Arthur has died. Reports say the 86yr old TV star passed away early Saturday morning, due to a battle with Cancer.

Beatrice “Bea” Arthur was the star of the 1970s TV series “Maude“. She also played the role of outspoken Dorothy in the 1980s, sitcom “The Golden Girls“.

Natahsa Richardson’s autopsy results (March 19th, 2009) have revealed that her cause of death was from blunt impact to the head. A New York City medical examiner’s office says Richardson died of an “epidural hematoma due to blunt impact to the head“.

Epidural hematoma is a type of traumatic brain injury in which a buildup of blood occurs between the dura mater (the tough outer membrane of the central nervous system) and the skull. When the blood accumulates between the dura and skull, swelling of the brain occurs. It can be life-threatening and requires immediate surgery to remove blood clots…

Her death has been deemed accidental.

    Natasha Richardson has passed away according to a statement made by the family this evening.

“Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Richardson was born on May 11, 1963 in London, England and grew up in a theatrical household. She has appeared in many films including “Maid in Manhattan“, “Blow Dry” and “The Parent Trap” to just name a few. She is the sister of Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck) and daughter of Oscar-winning actress Vanessa Redgrave. Richardson and husband Liam Neeson share two children together.

On Monday, March 16th, Natasha was injured while taking a ski lesson at Mont Tremblant Resort in Quebec, Canada.

No further medical details have been released yet.

This is the first public statement since the tragic news of their 16-year-old son, Jett, who passed away on Friday morning…

An autopsy is allegedly scheduled for Monday in the Bahamas, where the death took place…

        John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston’s 16 year old son Jett tragically died today while vacationing in the Bahamas. A police spokeswoman says Jett hit his head in a bathtub, while Travolta’s attorney Michael Ossi confirmed that Jett suffered a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died on scene.

Rumors claim that Jett was autistic, however Travolta and Preston have denied it, saying that he suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which can have painful side-effects, sezuires and often leading to heart disease… R.I.P

Kelly Preston and John Travolta also have a young daughter, Ella Blue, who was born in 2000…

       Macaulay Culkin’s older sister, Dakota, was struck and killed by a car in Los Angeles on December 11th, 2008. According to police the 29-year-old was hit by a car in West L.A and was rushed to UCLA hospital with massive head trauma and passed away the next day. The driver that hit Dakota was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and no charges have been laid at this time…

         Actor Mark Ruffalo’s brother has died after spending one week in a como after suffering from a gun shot wound to the head. Scott Ruffalo, 39, was found shot in his Beverly Hills home on December 1st, 2008 and was treated at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. According to the Beverly Hills Police a man and woman turned themselves into authorities yesterday (Monday) and are considered to be “persons of interest”. Mark Ruffalo hasn`t made any comments yet regarding his brothers tragic death… R.I.P

         TMZ.com has just revealed that NBC News’ Tim Russert has died of a heart attack. Sources say that the “Meet the Press” host and author collapsed today at work and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Russert had just returned from a European vacation with his family yesterday. He was 58.

          It’s been confirmed that Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs that included painkillers, sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication, according to the New York City medical examiner said Wednesday. The medical examiner’s spokesperson, Ellen Borakove released the following statement today…

Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine”.

         Sources tell me that the autopsy on Heath Ledger came up inconclusive. Authorities say that it will take nearly 10 days to determine a definitive cause of death. Fans have been remembering the talented star by leaving flowers and candles outside his Manhattan apartment.

        The Aussie native was found dead Tuesday by his housekeeper and a massage therapist. According to sources he was lying naked and face-down on the floor at the foot of his bed. Many different prescription drugs were found in Ledger’s apartment and a mysterious rolled up $20 dollar bill was also found close to his body. However, Police didn’t manage to find any illegal substiences in the apartment… I dunno?!!… kinda sounds like a accidental coke-a-cola overdose to me… I guess we’ll have to wait and see what the toxicology results reveal….

          Warner Bros. issued the following statement in regards to the recent news of Heath Ledgers passing… Warner Bros. is currently producing the next Batman movie “The Dark Knight“, in which Ledger plays “The Joker“….

Shocking News!!!!

        Australian actor Heath Ledger, the star of “Brokeback Mountain“, which was filmed in Alberta has been found dead at his downtown Manhattan residence, according to New York police. The cause of death has not yet been released.

        Ledger was previously engaged to actress Michelle Williams, however in September the couple split. They share one daughter together, Matilda Rose, born Oct. 28, 2005.

This is really sad! He was so talented… I hope it was of natural causes and not suicide or drug overdose… R.I.P

Brad Barron Renfro (July 25, 1982 – January 15, 2008)

Shocking News!

            Childstar actor Brad Renfro, 25, was found dead in his home on Tuesday. The young star is known to have struggled with drugs and alcohol. An autopsy has been planned to figure out the cause of death. Renfro gained huge Hollywood fame in the 1993 film “The Client”.

          More then 2000 jazz fans packed the Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto yesterday to honor the late Oscar Peterson. The 2 hour free concert included artists Measha Brueggergosman, Herbie Hancock and Nancy Wilson. Oscar Peterson’s family also gave heartfelt readings during the concert including his daughter Celine.

Peterson passed away at home in Mississauga, Ont. on Dec. 23 at age 82.

       Sources say that large groups of gatherer’s are flocking to Westwood Village Memorial Park in L.A to catch a glimpse of Merv Griffins tombstone.

They tombstone reads as followed;

     I guess Merv wanted to have the last laugh! He was such a happy-go-lucky kinda guy! Griffin shares his last resting place among other famous Hollywood legends including the infamous Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin and Jack Lemmon.

Griffin passed away on Aug. 12 at age 82 after a long battle with cancer.

       A free concert will be held at Roy Thomson Hall on Jan. 12, 2007 to celebrate the life of Canadian Jazz pianist Oscar Peterson, who passed away in late December at the age of 82. A 90 minute show will be broadcast by CBC with performances, memories and film and video highlights of the world renown Jazzman’s career.

       Rumor has it that the lineup will include Sharon Riley & Faith Chorale, the Nathaniel Dett Chorale, and the University of Toronto Gospel Choir, as well as my favorite Canadian opera star! Measha Brueggergosman….

Tickets are first come-first serve basis. Doors open at 3pm.

           Canadian child-star actress Ashleigh Aston Moore (born Ashley Rogers) has allegedly passed away from a heroin overdose. Moore was best known for her role in “Now and Then” in which she to gain 20 pounds to play the role of Chrissy. According to her IMDB the last acting job she did was a small role on “Touched by an Angel” in 1997.

            On Wikipedia it states the young woman died on December 11th, 2007. It originally stated that she passed away from a heroin overdose but has now been edited. A supposed friend wrote in his MySpace blog about her passing away click here to see the post.

            There is a slight chance that this could be a complete hoax but that’s why it’s called “Breaking News”. I searched the Richmond news for an obituary but there isn’t anything yet at this point. I think the family is probably trying to keep this as quiet as possible because of the media attention.

Wiki also says the following about the young woman;

Ashleigh lived in Canada, where she struggled with many personal issues. She did many eccentric things, such as get corset piercings and many tattoos.”

That’s really sad! I loved her in “Now and Then”! I used to watch that movie all the time as a kid…

         It has been confirmed that motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel has passed away. The 69 year old ’70’s icon has been suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis for years. Knievel also underwent a liver transplant in 1999 after almost dying from Hepatitis C.

          Rumors are circulating around the internet that Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker died on Tuesday in his garage.

         After doing my own investigating the only evidence I found was on his Wikipedia page, that states the claims!?! However Wikipedia isn’t exactly the most reliable source because anyone can edit the information.

          If the rumors are true he would have died a day before his 32nd Birthday, which was on November 14th. Barker was married to former Miss USA and “Dancing With the Stars” Shanna Moakler.

               Donda West, the mother of Grammy award winning Rapper Kayne West tragically passed away on Saturday. Kayne was known for having a close bond with his late mother. The cause of death has not yet been released.

That’s really sad…. I’ve heard some rumors on how she died but I rather wait and give you the truth…
