Canada’s Ryan Reynolds will star in an independent film entitled “Buried“, in which he will play a civilian contractor who’s kidnapped in Iraq and awakens buried in a coffin in the desert, armed only with a cell phone, a candle and a knife. According to Variety, filming will start this month in Barcelona.

        Ryan Reynolds said he was happy to still be standing after completing the New York City Marathon yesterday! He ran the race in 3 hours and 50 minutes in support for the Michael J. Fox Foundation and in honor of his father who has battled Parkinson’s for the last 15 years… wtg Ryan!

The 32yr old Vancouver born actor is married to actress Scarlett Johansson.
