      Amy Marlene Robichaud, from Calgary, Alberta was named Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister!! The 21yr old political science student from the University of Ottawa took home the title and $50,000!!

The Canadian finale was hosted by Alex Trebek and featured previous PM’s Kim Campbell, Paul Martin, Joe Clark and Brian Mulroney!

Canada’s Jillian Harris is the new Bachelorette!!

The 29yr old Interior Designer from Peace River, Alberta from the latest series of “The Bachelor” will get a second chance at love! Harris’ dreams at love were crushed when Bachelor Jason Mesnick sent her packing a few weeks ago. Mesnick shocked viewers on Monday night’s “After the Final Rose” special when he dumped fiancee Melissa Rycroft for a “shot” at love with runner-up contestant Molly Malaney… sloppy seconds anyone??

I am so excited. Seeing what Jason went through makes you realize there’s no guarantees in life, I only hope I make the right choice the first time.”- said Harris

We hope so too!… Harris will get the chance of being wined and dined by 25 single men!! She told us there wouldn’t be anymore sexy hot tub scenes, but will just have to wait and see about that!!…

The new season of “The Bachelorette” debuts on CityTV sometime in May, 2009…

       George Clooney aka sexy Dr. Doug Ross has apparently agreed to come back to ER, the show that made Clooney’s career!! According to sources, ER co-creator John Wells has ordered a closed set to keep Clooney’s appearance under wraps. Nobody knows for sure how many episodes Clooney with appear in but one thing is for sure, ER’s final season is gunna be good!!

Clooney publicly denied rumors last March that he was returning to the hit TV show. Interestingly enough, ER’s 15th season was extended by an extra four episodes by NBC executives last week! hmmm
